Toronto moves fast. Therapy doesn't have to. Sometimes the most useful thing is a room where you can step out of the rush, take a breath, and look at your life from a little higher ground.

Meet the full team, or let us help you find your fit.

Every approach is body-aware, paced, and collaborative. Depending on your needs and your therapist's training, sessions may draw on CBT, DBT-informed skills, ACT, attachment-focused and parts work, narrative therapy, polyvagal-informed grounding, and EMDR when appropriate. Psychotherapy at Vistas is talk-based and never involves touch.

Cultural safety means we honour your autonomy and your relationships, your family, community ties, and the knowledge systems that support you, if and when you choose to bring them in. You're welcome to request an Indigenous therapist or a culturally informed therapist if that feels important for your comfort or connection.

Choosing a format

In person or virtual?

Both formats offer the same psychotherapy, with the same care and confidentiality. Many people choose based on what helps their nervous system settle.

FormatIt may suit you if…
In person in CabbagetownYou'd like a dedicated space away from home, find it easier to open up face to face, or are interested in body-based work such as grounding, breath, and movement in the room.
Virtual across OntarioYou have a busy schedule, a long commute, or limited privacy at work, live elsewhere in Ontario, or feel more at ease starting from your own space.
A mix of bothYou'd like to start one way and switch, or alternate depending on your week. With Amanda or Heather, this is often possible.
