Creating a Sustainable Mindfulness Practice

Virtual or in your office space

Ever started a meditation habit only to watch it fizzle out after a few weeks? Many therapists encourage clients to build a mindfulness practice — but that advice only goes as far as the practice's staying power, and the same challenge often applies to therapists themselves. This workshop, offered for individual clinicians or full clinic teams, is designed to help you understand, build, and actually sustain a mindfulness or meditation practice that fits your life and your caseload.

We'll cover the foundations of mindfulness, explore the well-documented benefits of regular meditation, including reduced stress, better focus, improved emotional regulation, and better sleep, and share practical tips for weaving a daily practice into even the busiest clinical schedule. Along the way, we'll also talk through simple, accessible mindfulness strategies you can adapt and offer to clients as part of your own clinical work — tools you can only pass along with confidence once you've genuinely practiced them yourself.

Workshops at Vistas Psychotherapy & Wellness are psychoeducational and skill-based in nature. Participation in a workshop does not constitute psychotherapy and does not establish a therapeutic relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a crisis line or your primary healthcare provider.
